What if...

So, BMW CEO Kruger said that they going to "...offer 25 electrified vehicles 12 will be fully-electric.". Let's imagine that at least one of those 12 fully-electric models is SUV. We already have BMW X5 xDrive40e which is Plug-in model. What design do you want to see in that fully-electric SUV model?
I would love to see a reworked model of X6. Just imagine BMW X6i with some new futuristic exterior details and new colors...

An electrified X3 would be nice and it makes more sense because the model is lighter and cheaper compared to an X6. Tack on a giant battery pack to an already beefy vehicle and you'll have something that can only scoot around.

It will happen because the truth is it hast to happen, the only problem is right now we're not at a point where it makes the most sense. So far Tesla has been the first to have at it with the Model X. Maybe in another 5-10 years as more bigger SUV's get hybrid powertrains then the next step, going electric, will start to show.

Fresh news, people. BMW's X3 EV model got its name... *drum roll*... It's gonna be called BMW iX3. According to the report, BMW has applied for trademarks for iX1, iX9, and everything in between. What do you think of the new name?

Not surprised that fact because they already have a similar naming scheme with the BMW 3-Series hybrid except the 'e' comes at the end so with respect to the hybrid naming scheme they have to place the 'i' somewhere else. Even the 3-series diesel had a similar placement of 'd' to 'e'
